Don’t Spend it All in One Place

“Don’t spend it all in one place” is usually a comedic way someone describes a low amount of money, but not when an anonymous patron said it to his bartender in a New Hampshire restaurant.

According to Today, his tab came to $38. He tipped a hefty $16,000.

He has since come back to the restaurant, where they tried to return the money because it didn’t feel right, but he declined. After the bill was cleared, the money was split up between other bartenders and the kitchen staff.

They said, “It just says there’s good, kindhearted people out there that realize that people might have to struggle.” It’s good to be reminded of this, especially after a difficult year.
