Five zebras were trying to help us figure out this age-old mystery in Prince George’s County, Maryland. They escaped from a private 300-acre farm and wandered into a small town.
According to, NBC News, one family was shocked, as they were only used to seeing deer and foxes from their windows, not this exotic animal! “[My daughter] was shocked and went upstairs and told my wife. My wife didn’t believe her.”, said Paul Curling.
The zebras have been returned home, although, since the owner is still not quite sure how they escaped, there may be more field trips in the future.
